Dear colleagues, partners,
After the successful premiere of HEVI 2018 - Multidisciplinary Meeting of Endovascular Medicine, we were unfortunately forced to cancel the organization of HEVI 2020 due to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic. The SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic led to extremely difficult circumstances for the preparation of the meeting, and drastically changed the mobility of potential lecturers and participants. As we could not ensure a high level of production in the preparation and execution of the meeting, we decided on a radical move to cancel the meeting.
In the meantime, we got used to the new "pandemic" habits and ways of working and holding live events, which was significantly helped by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus vaccine.
Therefore, with new optimism and great satisfaction, we are announcing the international HEVI 2022, which will be held in Zagreb, Croatia, from Thursday, October 13, 2022 until Saturday October 15, 2022 in the conference center of the Hilton Garden Inn Zagreb.
We are facing an exciting and responsible period of organizing the multidisciplinary meeting HEVI 2022 with the aim of making the program better and further improved.
The basis of the HEVI 2022 program will be large thematic units of endovascular interventions based on a “case-based” approach that includes the thoracic aorta, supraaortic arteries, abdominal aorta, iliac arteries, peripheral arteries and veins and pulmonary embolism.
As a novelty, in relation to the premiere HEVI 2018, the thematic unit Stroke is being introduced, which is a very important segment of the multidisciplinary approach to endovascular medicine in the world. Additionally at HEVI 2022 we present cooperation with the Section of Neuroradiology of the Croatian Society of Radiologists, which will organize a Symposium on Neurointerventions in the field of Stroke as part of a multidisciplinary meeting of endovascular medicine.
The program of the meeting largely depends on you, our associates and lecturers, so we encourage you to collect typical, interesting, rare or important endovascular interventions that can be presented in sections based on patient views and interventions.
We are introducing two more new sections in the program that will be focused on recent, most important research and materials in endovascular medicine.
Their names are "Highlights in Endovascular Interventions" and "New Frontiers in EndoVascular Interventions".
The very successful "Live in the Box" format continues at HEVI 2022 with a number of even more interesting endovascular interventions recorded live.
The upcoming HEVI 2022 is an important opportunity for business meetings of industry and professionals in endovascular medicine. Presentation of materials and business contacts will be further facilitated and enhanced by organizing a space called the “Endovascular Industry Show”.
Last but not least, HEVI 2022 is an opportunity for moments of informal socializing that will take place in the evening after the official program in accordance with the epidemiological measures that will be valid at that time in the Republic of Croatia.
